What is Plexr plasma treatment?

Plexr refers to a device-based plasma technology acting at the skin surface. It is different from platelet-rich plasma prepared from your blood. The exact device and intended treatment area should be clarified during a consultation.

Setting realistic expectations

Plasma treatment may be discussed for limited skin laxity or superficial appearance concerns. The phrase “non-surgical eyelid lift” does not mean that it matches eyelid surgery. Drooping lids, visual-field symptoms and prominent fat pads may require a different assessment.

Recovery and care

Small crusts, redness and swelling may follow treatment. Avoid picking the area and follow your clinician’s skin-care and sun-protection instructions. The treatment site and individual healing response determine the time needed before social activities.

What risks should be discussed?

Burns, infection, scarring and persistent pigment changes are possible, with additional eye-injury concerns near the eyelids. A brand name does not establish safety by itself. Discuss device suitability, practitioner training and alternatives. These are not treatments to attempt at home.

Frequently asked questions

Is it PRP or a laser?

No. These technologies use different mechanisms and should not be treated as interchangeable.

Are results permanent after one treatment?

A permanent result cannot be promised. Expected change and possible repeat treatment need individual discussion.
